If you've read the series, you're familiar with Joan of Arc and the idea that she is immortal and cannot die. That threw me off a bit with the title. We learned in one story that Scathach had saved Joan of Arc back in the day: this is THAT story.Okay, it was really short, but it was a whole dollar! And then my favorite character, Scatty, appeared in this story, so that made it even better. Definitely for fans of the series (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel), this is a short story that is not to be missed.

The Death of Joan of Arc is short, good, and cheap.
The first thing you have to understand about this short story is that it is short. I know you think you know what I'm saying, and consider me an idiot for having to reiterate this, but there is no other way to describe it in full. The story is 12 pages long and close to a quarter of it is used to set up the story and state the perspective it's based on.
That said this kindle only short story is a decent buy for fans of Michael Scott's Nicholas Flamel Series at $0.89 a copy. The story itself will mean nothing to readers who have not read the series, but for fans who have read the series, this will be a fun opportunity to enjoy watching Scathach and Joan in action.
All in all the Death of Joan of Arc is a short cheap reminder for fans of the next Nicholas Flamel book. While I felt this story could have been better, I would certainly read a book of short stories in the Flamel series, but until then I'll wait for the next book in the series.

Couldn't give it 5 stars because of how short it was (just a few pages), but still a great addition to his series. It doesn't add much to the series but still a nice quick read for fans of his work.
I loved Joan of Arc as a character, and when I found out about this story, I instantly read it. It was very good, and I thoroughly enjoyed the story.
As always, Michael Scott is Brilliant. These are more like essays, than books. Way too short. I read the whole series and this book along with the Billy the Kid and the Vampyres of Vegas are both frustratingly short. I sure hope he continues with this particular story!
This is a great short story for anyone who has read Michael Scotts the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. I really liked how the story was told from the perspective of an archer who secretly didn't want Joan to be executed. It was a great story but is wish it was longer.
One thing I think would make this story better (and longer) is if the perspective switched over to Scatty for the rest of the story because in one of the TSOTINF books, Scatty mentions putting her vampire blood into Joan because of the injury that William gave her while they were escaping. All in all, I don't think Scott finished the story.
Who doesn't love seeing Scathach kicking ass and taking names? Not that she takes any names, really--who cares about which of the bloody English you're taking down when your friend's in trouble? Short and sweet and loved it as much as Billy and the Vampyres. Actually read this one first, just never got the chance to review 'til now.

Both Joan and Scathach are major characters in Mr. Scott's series and, while you won't miss anything of importance by not reading this story, it's quick, it's fun and it costs less than a buck, so why would you miss it?
